I hope everyone has been well. Happy Hump Day Wednesday! Today’s post is about a wonderful sandwich combo that I had recently at Brother Jimmy’s BBQ Restaurant. This restaurant is located in Midtown Manhattan, right next to Madison Square Garden in New York City. This outstanding sandwich is one of my favorite go to sandwiches after a long visit at the camera shop, B & H Photo.
This sandwich freshly slice smoked brisket, pressed in cheddar cheese; each bite, the gooey cheese pulls and elopes from your grasp. Then there is a complimenting bowl of crisp sweet potato tots! Delicious with every chew. You slap on some of their spicy ketchup on each bite, it enhances your chew.
Brother Jimmy’s is a stand-up BBQ spot. You get your money’s worth. The waiters and waitresses have outstanding character and very quick to serve. BRIGHT SMILE and will keep you laughing.
If you’re visiting NYC, stop by one of Brother Jimmy’s restaurants and enjoy some nice BBQ food and have a great time! Ohh, tell Rachel that Eric sent you, you might get a surprise. haha
Stay tuned! Will be posting more from my NYC excursions and other various restaurants I visit. I’m going to put you guys on good food for your buck!
Happy post Mother’s Day syndrome. Haha. My mom said happy mothers week not day. So this post is for my mama. She’s one of the best people I know I know personally in this word. I wish I could be half the person she is, shows how much of a great person she is. She still feeds me. Doesn’t cloth me but I’m sure It would be a cruel world without her. I’m glad god and opportunity brought us together. I strive for greatness because of role models like her. I love you mom. Thank you

Hope last night wasn’t too hard on you. This is a simple smoothie I usually make to get the day brewing.
- Kale (good stuff guys)
- 1/2 Cup Apple Juice
- Mint Leaves
Throw all of those ingredients in the Nutribullet Rx system and make sure I get all of the fruits and vegetables. When making smoothies, I find it great to try different ingredients that would have a synergistic effect on our bodies; for example, did you know garlic is a natural blood pressure reliever? Research and try things. It’s pretty cool. Oh yeah, I took this shoot with my new 50 mm 1.8G. Lets see how it works out!
Have an awesome day!
Hope your week is going well. I’ve been keeping busy like usual and sorry for the wait. This week’s event highlight is from Jack Daniel’s Signature Blend event. These three bands totally killed it. The vibe all night was low key and Spirit Animal turned all the way up! If you like underground music with an organic feel, I suggest you check these bands out! Spirit Animal, High Waisted and Coast Gaard. Shout out to Steve from Spirit Animal, killed it dude. Enjoy the pictures and please visit my facebook for all the events photos! Also, shout out to Oliver from Rhizome Productions, KILLER visual installation piece!
Over and out!

Good afternoon my friends!
It’s a lovely Friday afternoon, shoes are off, your work shirt is getting unbuttoned and you’re trying to figure out what to do this action packed weekend. You can watch the Floyd Mayweather, Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao. You can probably watch the immense game seven match-up between the Clippers and Spurs playoff nail-bitter. Or you can sit here and try to make a simple tomato soup when you feel sick after all that drinking and partying you’ve doing haha. This recipe is something I created from a developing palate and pure innovation with what was in my fridge.
- 3-4 tomatoes
- 2 cups of water
- Dashes of cayenne, salt and pepper
- Fresh Parsley and Oregano
- Roasted Garlic (2-3 cloves) and Shallots
- Croutons (Homemade wheat bread or whatever bread is at your disposal)
- Secret Ingredient (7 seedless sweet grapes) Gives a hint of sweetness
Not bad for my first ever tomato soup huh! I must add, I used the Nutribullet System to converge this flavor packed soup and it’s so amazing. I hope you guys love this post and please share it and enjoy your weekend!

Enjoy! and don’t forget to visit my portfolio if you would like to book me for your event!
I know it has been spring for a couple weeks, but the weather is getting better in the northeast and the buds are budding. haha.
Today’s post is part 1 of my annual Newark’s Cherry Blossom Festival blog post. I enjoy going to the park and checking out the natural blossoming of the Cherry Blossom. Branchbrook Park in Newark, NJ is one of the nations oldest county parks and has an astounding collection of over 4, 000 cherry blossoms.
As the sun sets, enjoy the silhouette and welcome spring.
Stay tuned for more pictures coming soon…
Long week? Well relax, it’s Friday! Go and enjoy the spring weather. If your in the NYC metro area, keep warm haha. Weird weather! People had skirts on last Saturday. All week has been warm jackets. haha.
Today’s post is about food! Cooking is good for the soul. I went in the fridge and found whatever I laid my eyes on and made a decent meal. I never cook eggplants but I wanted to give it a try. I diced and mashed up some garlic and parsley, added some salt a pepper and managed to get a good sear on them. Then split open some maple sausage and seared that up too. Added a spring salad and fiber toast and then it was done. Check it out!
ohhh, let me know if you think I should start a food blog. Enjoy your weekend guys and gals!
The Spring “Hook-Up” Snack
- One Half of an Eggplant
- Slices of Sausage
- Spring Salad
- Slices of Toasted Bread
Someone Smells Sausage haha
Hope your Tuesday is going splendid. Today’s portrait is from a retirement party I took pictures for, Mr. Foster. Foster served Rutgers University for decades and had a great send out party. He seemed like a loved man from all his peers and I wanted to capture that. I made him an awesome photo album of the event; later, purchased another cause loved the work and creativity.
Here in the picture is two brothers, Big bro and little bro. Love your family, they are the only family you have until they are gone. Fight, laugh and hug.
