Portrait Tuesdayyy!

Good Afternoon!

Hope your Tuesday is going splendid. Today’s portrait is from a retirement party I took pictures for, Mr. Foster. Foster served Rutgers University for decades and had a great send out party. He seemed like a loved man from all his peers and I wanted to capture that. I made him an awesome photo album of the event; later, purchased another cause loved the work and creativity.

Here in the picture is two brothers, Big bro and little bro. Love your family, they are the only family you have until they are gone. Fight, laugh and hug.

Musical Monday

Good afternoon friends,

Hope everyone has been well. Sorry for being distant; I’ve been hidden underneath a rock in Newark figuring out my next diabolical plans to take over the world. mwhahahaha. sikeee.

On a serious note, I’ve been spending time pondering but how I can concur my world. People may not understand how hard it is to run things yourself, let alone consistently. I feel like a writer with writer’s block on a verge of writing an award winning piece but with no ink and massive potential.

“Most of the time, the answers we search for everyday are written on the back of the piece of paper you’ve been waiving around while searching for the answers. WE already have the answers. Just turn your paper over.”

– Erick Ogada, Regular Dude

Today’s piece is on a cellist out of Midtown Mahattan, Erik Jacobson, playing at the Highline in Chelsea, Manhattan. I was wrapping up a shoot near by with a client. In a way, his music help me take some of my best shots, indirectly. I came by, gave him a tip and asked to take some picture. Once finished, he gave me his card, and I later sent him his photos. He can find Erik Jacbson during the summer donned out in his tux and playing for the public. Make sure you drop a tip and tell Erik that Erick sent you. haha. Enjoy!

If you would like to get in touch with me, you can contact me here!

Cheers mates!

#THROWBACKTHURSDAY Costa Rica 2014

Oh I miss you so much. I need to get on a plane and visit another Central American nation. Passport expires in May, at least one more stamp before I retire her. Here is one of my favorite shots I took  last year at a rest stop in Costa Rica. I saw this young woman walking down the road with her Jordan sneakers and iPad. Then I saw the speed limit sign and the hills mashing together. I had to take the shot. Just felt like she was going somewhere, like destined to achieve something. Some of the best photos are taken with minimal effort.

Take The Steps You Need…

Hello friends. Another great week in the northeast where it’s 50 one day, then below freezing another. Got to love it. I was on my way home from a seminar and I saw these steps next to me. Took a shot and reminded me about life for some reason. There is always an alternative choice; for example, you can take the red pill or blue pill (Morpheus). Whenever you are faced with two options of where to go, follow your gut. Everything will be better and just be thankful you’re alive to make decisions. Be blessed, not stressed and be sure to refer any clients to me if they’re in need of a photographer for any type of events. I travel as well. Just have them click the photo and leave their information or questions. I respond to all emails in a prompt fashion. Thank You! Have a great day!
